The pearl waxes have a beautiful iridescent sheen which changes colour as they catch the light. Available in three different tints, Blue, Pink and Yellow. They can be used on their own or mixed with other Dehan colours. When you mix the pearl wax with another colour it gives it an iridescent sheen. The darker the colour you mix it with, the more pronounced the effect. Each pearl wax will mix with all the standard colurs giving you the full range in iridescent shades. It's cheaper for you and easier for me that way. I find that it is easiest to mix them on the iron as I paint. You can see if you need more, straight away. As with the metallic waxes, don't use too much, a little goes a long way. The blocks are the same size and shape as the normal Dehan colours - approximately 45mm along the shorter sides by 13mm deep ( 1.8" by 0.5" deep). Like all Dehan waxes, they can also be used with other makes of painting wax, if you wish.
