Metallic Painting Waxes - £1.00 each

These are thin sticks of metallic Dehan wax in gold, silver and/or copper.
Approximately 62mm x 15mm by 6mm deep (2.4" x 0.6" by 0.2" deep).
Sold singly.
Either mix them with the normal colours to give them a metallic sheen or use them on their own, on top of an almost finished picture, to highlight the raised parts of the image.
When you mix the with other colours, don't use a lot or you will loose some of the sparkle effect, a little goes a long way.
If you use a slightly higher temperature than normal, the metallic particals float to the surface and gather at the thickest edge of the liquid wax, giving a metallic line rather than an overall sheen.
Great for dragonfly wings as well, you may have noticed I use it a lot for them.
Like all Dehan waxes, they can also be used with other makes of painting wax, if you wish.
There is a block of each in the starter kit.
